The Shreveport-Bossier City-Minden Combined Statistical Area is made up of four parishes in northwestern
Louisiana . The statistical area consists of theShreveport-Bossier City Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Minden Micropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2000 census, the CSA had a population of 417,796 (though a July 1, 2007 estimate placed the population at 428,507).
