Churapcha (Russian: Чурапча́) is a village (selo) and the administrative center of Churapchinsky Ulus in the Sakha Republic, Russia. Population: 7,526 (2002 Census); 6,232 (1989 Census).
It was founded in 1725 after the highway to Okhotsk was opened. It is located 178 kilometers (111 mi) east of the capital of Yakutsk along the river basin of the Aldan River, a tributary of the Lena River. The road from Yakutsk to Magadan on the eastern side of the republic runs through Churapcha.
