Jacksonville, Florida , running from Lakeshore to Oceanway. Through the entirety of its route it is a four-lane highway, divided by a median in some segments.Route description
Starting as Cassat Ave, SR-111's southern terminus is at Blanding Blvd/SR-21, from which it heads due north past San Juan Ave/SR-128, Park St, Normandy Blvd/Post St/SR-228, Lenox Ave/CR-213, and I-10. Less than a mile after the I-10 interchange, SR-111 merges with Edgewood Ave S., then becoming Edgewood Ave N. after crossing W. Beaver Street/US 90. Continuing north, the highway crosses Commonwealth Ave, a CSX rail line, and Old Kings Rd, where it turns to the northeast and crosses over a CSX rail depot. New Kings Rd (US 1/US 23) follows, and there it becomes Edgewood Ave West. As it goes through Jacksonville's Northside, the highway crosses Moncrief Rd and Lem Turner Rd/SR-115 before an interchange with I-95, where it turns into Tallulah Ave. Heading southeast, SR-111 crosses N. Pearl St before meeting its northern terminus at N. Main St./US 17.

* Prior to the consolidation of Jacksonville and
Duval County , Edgewood Ave N. formed the northwestern boundary of the City of Jacksonville.* Edgewood Ave S. begins at the
St. Johns River , crossing St. Johns Ave/SR-211 and continuing NW through Avondale, passing Riverside Ave, Park St, and U.S. Roosevelt Blvd/U.S. Highway 17. It then crosses Post St/SR-228 and College St, and sharing an exit on I-10 with Lenox Ave/SR-213 before intersecting Cassat Ave and becoming SR-111.* Edgewood Ave S. was once County Road 111/SR-111A, although there is no current signage indicating its status as a state or county road.
