* From 1932 to 1950 original route in south Jacksonville of U.S. Highway 17, before Roosevelt Ave (now Blvd) was built.
* From 1951 -1955 it was signed , with a hidden State Road 211. By 1957 it was just State Road 211 . This was before the Roosevelt Spur was built.
* The Part from Post St to the Acosta Bridge was added in 1994.
* Riverside Ave begins / Ends at St Johns Ave which is SR 211 and they go 19 blocks side by side before St Johns Ave ends into St Vincents Hospital and 211 is forced to moved up to Riverside Ave.
* King St, which for one block carries State Road 211 from St Johns Ave to Riverside Ave, was once the Jacksonville city limits in 1889 down the middle of the riverside area.
