Nicholas Channel (also Saint Nicholas Channel; Spanish: Canal de Nicolas or Canal de San Nicolas) is a strait off the northwestern coast of Cuba. It lies 90 miles (140 km) east of Havana. It separates Cuba from the most southwestern of the islands of the Bahamas.
Part of the Atlantic Ocean, it is bordered to the west and north by the Straits of Florida, to the south by the Sabana-Camaguey Archipelago off Cuba's north shore and to the east by the Old Bahamas Channel.
