The Antiquers Mall: This large building is hard to miss. The Antiquers mall is a place where small antiquers can sell their rare collections of valuables, some from the 1800s to 1900s. Coaches' Grill is the latest business to take up residence in the mall, although as of August 11, 2008, there was ongoing construction.
The Antique Store: A little store off Route 33, with many antiques and items from the Civil War, Korean War, World War I, World War II, and many other wars. Located in a red barn-like building.
In 2007, it was announced that Ruckersville will be the site of a new
Walmart Supercenter andLowes . These businesses are being constructed on the northwest corner of the 29-33 intersection. In addition to the two large stores, there will be additional retail space for other establishments, which have not been sold as of August 11th, 2008.Media
Ruckersville has one media outlet, ESPN 840, a sports talk radio station. Although the station's tower location is in Earlysville, and the mailing address is Quinque, the station still considers itself a Ruckersville station.

In 2005, a pair of veterans of the local political scene proposed a road that would connect Ruckersville to Charlottesville, a sort of unofficial, mid-speed bypass of the crowded streets of Charlottesville. However, objections from residents and planners quashed the proposal, which had been dubbed the "Ruckersville Parkway." [cite news
