Consumer Action Legal Centre

The Consumer Action Law Centre is a community legal centre as well as a research body in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia which seeks to promote the interests of low-income and vulnerable consumers, and of consumers as a whole.

It is financed by grants from Victoria Legal Aid and Consumer Affairs Victoria.

It assists vulnerable and disadvantaged consumers, and provides training to community workers.

It participates in public policy discussions on an Australia-wide level, and is represented on several consumer-related consultative committees
