Robert Gallagher

Robert Gallagher is an award-winning magazine photographer. Gallagher was born in Kensington, West London, England in 1969, and is currently based in Los Angeles, California.

Gallagher's work has been published in Time magazine, Vogue, Sports Illustrated, Men's Vogue, Newsweek, People magazine, The Times, The Face and The Guardian Weekend magazine. His commercial clients include Reebok, Canon, Mazda, Merrill Lynch and Vivendi Universal ["Martial Arting With David Mamet" TIME, May 9 2008. In his working life, he has phptographed many subjects including, Hurricane Katrina survivors, world leaders, September 11 rescue workers and actors in the adult movie industry. Individuals he has photographed include Sidney Poitier, Nancy Pelosi, Penélope Cruz, HRH Prince Charles, Tony Bennett.

In December 2001, just two months after September 11, his first solo- exhibition 'Ground Hero- Portraits of September 11 ' was profiled live by ABC News, during the charity opening- night.
