LaHave, Nova Scotia

LaHave is a small village near the mouth of the LaHave River in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia. It is located approximately 15 kilometres from the town of Bridgewater. At one time it was the economic centre of the surrounding area as a centre of fishing, trade and shipbuilding. The many vessels built in the area include a famous clipper, the barque "Stag".

The village is known for its scenic setting and its long-running cable ferry across the LaHave River. A landmark in recent years has been the Lahave Bakery, a year-round bakery and cafe located in an old riverside chandlery.
