The shopping centre is worth A$123.1 million as of December 2007.[1] The shopping centre has a Gross Lettable Area of 22,453 square metres (241,680 sq ft), 1,700 parking spaces and approximately 110 specialty retailers.
Brandon Park is believed to have opened in 1970, and was originally owned by a Victorian electricity superannuation fund. In 1997, it was acquired by MCS Property for A$65 million. The performance strength of the Coles supermarket at the centre was noted as being one of the strongest in the state.[2][3] In 2003, Centro acquired MCS Property Limited, and has since managed the centre.
