Until its expansion in 2008, it was known as Plenty Valley Town Centre and hosted one major store (Coles Supermarket), and approximately 22 specialty stores.Westfield commenced a redevelopment program for the centre in 2007, expanding the area to 48,9002 at a cost of approx $200 million. Westfield Plenty Valley has approx 148 stores and is anchored by 4 major stores including Coles Supermarket, Safeway Supermarket, Target Department Store and a Kmart. In addition, there are also 2,230 car spaces, a 600-seat food court and 7 mini-major stores including an Aldi and a JB Hi-fi. The centre opened on 22nd May 2008.
Stage 3 is in the planning stage, but is not due for completion til 2012, due to
