Hygiene is an unincorporated town and a U.S. Post Office located in Boulder County, Colorado, United States. The Hygiene Post Office has the ZIP Code 80533. This town's name stems from a time when it had a sanitarium to work with tuberculosis patients. The sanitarium was started in 1882 by Reverend Jacob S. Flory and his Church of the Brethren, who had come to the area a few years earlier to work with tuberculosis patients.
