David Bishop (born 22 September 1983) is a Wales Under-21 international rugby union footballer who plays at centre.
Bishop attended Treorchy Comprehensive School Treorchy Comprehensive from September 1995 to July 2002. His brother Andrew, is also a rugby union centre and has played for the Wales national rugby union team.
He joined the Ospreys in 2004 after the disbandment of the Celtic Warriors and played in 22 games, scoring 4 tries altogether before unfortunatley shattering his knee cap in a game against Munster. In 2009 he joined Sale Sharks and in August 2010 he joined Newport Gwent Dragons[1] for a short spell before signing a 5 months contract with Edinburgh Rugby. For the remainder of the 2010/11 season Bishop joined Moseley for a brief 2 month stint.[2]
