Chippewa Valley Schools is a school district located in Macomb County, Michigan. It contains several Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, with a total enrollment of over 16,000 students, making it the second largest school district in Macomb County, and the ninth largest in the state of Michigan.

- 2001 Division II Football State Champions, led by coach Mike Carr.
- Varsity Girls Soccer: 2002 District Champions, 2003 MAC White Co-champions, 2004 MAC White Champions, 2008 - 2009 MAC Red Champions, led by coach Gerry Haggarty.
- Hired former Buffalo Bills linebacker John DiGiorgio as a teacher and football coach in 2010.
Notable Incidents
- In 2004, pupil Andrew Osantowski was arrested for threatening an act of terrorism and ten other felony charges.[4][5]
- In 2006, pupil Joe Coppage was charged for making a bomb threat.[6]

Dakota High School

It opened in 1995 as the second high school in the Chippewa Valley school district. An overflow of freshmen caused the need to build a ninth grade center. However, as that building could not be built in time for the 2007-2008 school year, Dakota had to utilize a finished wing of the new Seneca Middle School building. The Ninth Grade Center has been open and in use since the 2008-2009 school year.

- James A. "Jim" Santilli, Jr. 2010 candidate for State Representative in Michigan's 33rd District, which includes Clinton, Macomb, and Ray Townships, attended Dakota High School.
- Masiela Lusha the famous actress, mostly famous for playing Carmen Lopez on the George Lopez television sitcom, attended Dakota High School.
- Danny Stevens of The Audition(band) Graduated in '04. Also made bands such as B.O.A.T.S(Based on A True Story) and Only In Movies.
- Kyle Cook (American football), pro NFL football player currently signed on the Cincinnati Bengals.
- Ben Lagman, pro MMA fighter. Appeared on the MTV series Bully Beatdown as the pro fighter.

Mohegan High School

Previously the Iroquois Indians, the mascot was changed to the Panthers due to inappropriate nature of referring to American natives as "Indians". It was also agreed that "Panthers" sounded like a tougher name for its teams.
In April 2008, the school started construction to add a new wing to the school, a new band room, and several other rooms. The construction is now completed and the classrooms are now in use.
Seneca Middle School

While that building is now used as the Chippewa Valley High School 9th Grade Center and the International Academy of Macomb, the new building opened for the 2008-'09 school year is located in Macomb Township next to Dakota High School and Cheyenne Elementary School. Their mascot is the "Jaguars," and the school colors are green, gold, and white. Seneca Middle School is located on Heydenreich and 21 Mile Road. The principal is Mr. Todd Disteralth, and the assistant principal is Mr. Jeff Nelson.
Wyandot Middle School
School located on Garfield Rd. in Clinton Township Michigan. Wyandot is known as the "Beast Hawks" with colors of Navy Blue and Gold.
