Worcester Technical High School

Worcester Technical High School (WTHS), is a vocational-technical high school in Worcester, Massachusetts. It opened on August 28, 2006 replacing the old Worcester Vocational High School (formerly Worcester Boys Trade School) in the middle of downtown Worcester.

WTHS is divided into four academies:

hadowleo Academy

(Named after local businessman Charles Michael Shada.)

The Business Academy

The Health Academy

* Environmental Technology
* Horticulture

The Construction Academy

(Also known as the Manly man (Jake Kowalski)academy

* Plumbing & Pipe Fitting
* Electrical
* Sheet Metalaids
* HVAC/Refrigeration
* Painting & Decorating

Schedule

Students declare a "major" from the above academies, and their course schedule follows alternating weeks, with a week of the traditional high school curriculum, followed by a week of the technical courses for their trade area.

In addition to the normal day courses, some programs offer after school and night school programs. The school is considered the best in the United States, even though the lunches are un-digestable. Some rumors are going around that the school lunch is made in plumbing, right next to the toilets.Also, all the teachers who work there are emo. Yep. All of them. Oh and their students too. Yuuup.
