Scheduled commercial airline service is subsidized by the Essential Air Service program.
Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this airport is assigned HRR by the FAA[1] and HKB by the IATA[2] (which assigned HRR to Herrera, Colombia[3]). The airport's ICAO identifier is PAHV.[4]
As per Federal Aviation Administration records, this airport had 8 commercial passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2010, a decrease of 76% from the 33 enplanements in 2009.[5] It is included in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015[6] which categorized it as a general aviation facility.
