The company was set up in 1998 with a team of 30 staff and has since grown to over 900 staff, making it one of Europe's largest provider of visual effects for film.
In 2009, Double Negative opened its Singapore office.[1] Currently housing a team of close to 100 artists,[2] the Singapore office works closely with the Double Negative team in London on selected productions.
Recent completed projects include Inception, Captain America: The First Avenger, Paul, Attack the Block, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, The Wolf Man, Kick-Ass, Sherlock Holmes, The Green Zone, Angels & Demons, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, The Boat that Rocked, Fast & Furious, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 and Part 2. They are currently in production on John Carter of Mars and The Dark Knight Rises.
