Pittsburgh DMA

The Pittsburgh DMA is a regional Designated Market Area (i.e., a media market) defined by the Nielsen company as part of its ratings system. In 2004 Pittsburgh was the 24th largest DMA in the U.S. by population, with a population of 2,881,200. Other definitions of the "Pittsburgh region" include the Pittsburgh Metro Area, and the Pittsburgh "Tri-State Region."
