His 2010 album release "Back Here On The Floor (Wisely and Slow)" was recorded at the home of Loretta Lynn at Coal Miner's Daughter Recording Studio, in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.[1][2]

Personal life
Brand was born in Ferndale, Washington and currently lives in Fort Worth, Texas.[3] During an interview Brand stated his music career was started when he was 6 years old, while watching his father's band... "I saw what music did to those people, and I at that moment, made a conscious decision. I said to myself, that's what I'm gonna do with my life."[4] He has shared stages with Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Bob Dylan, The Doobie Brothers, and has been in bands with Audley Freed and Charlie Daniels.[5]
