Diamond Creek is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the suburb of Diamond Creek, on the Hurstbridge railway line. It is in Metcard Zone 2.
Facilities
Diamond Creek station is located at the northern end of the Hurstbridge Road level crossing, which also provides station access.
The station consists of two side platforms: Platform 1 (City & Hurstbridge bound) has a large weatherboard building, while platform 2 (also city & Hurstbridge bound) has a small steel shelter. A large Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platform 1, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins. There are no Metcard machines on platform 2. There are toilets on platform 1 (which are mostly closed) and a pay phone at the city end of platform 1.
When trains are scheduled to cross at the station Connex staff are required under the Staff and Ticket safeworking system used on the line, as well as to operate the signals and points for the crossing loop.
