Patterson is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the suburb of Bentleigh on the Frankston railway line. Patterson is unmanned and is in Metcard Zone 2.
Facilities
The station is located at the northern end of the Patterson Road rail overpass, which also provides station access.
The station consists of three elevated platforms, two in an island format. The island platform (platforms 1 & 2, Flinders Street & Frankston bound) has a semi-large brick building, while platform 3 (Frankston bound) has a smaller brick building. A large Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platforms 1 & 2, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins. A small coin-only Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platform 3.
