Malvern is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the suburb of Malvern, on the Pakenham, Frankston and Cranbourne lines. Malvern is classed as a Host Station and is in Metcard Zone 1.

Facilities

The station is located between Station Street and Station Place, with station access from both.

The station consists of four platforms, two in an island format, with the other two being side platforms. Platforms 1 & 4 (side platforms) have semi-large brick building's, while platforms 2 & 3 (island platform) have a large brick building, all in the middle of their respective platforms. A large Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platforms 2 & 3, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins. Small coin-only Metcard machine's are located at the entrance to platforms 1 & 4. A footbridge is situated at DOWN end of the station. Trains from Frankston use platform 1 on weekdays until 7.30pm, with trains to Frankston using platform 2. Weekday trains from Cranbourne and Pakenham use platform 3, with weekday trains to Cranbourne and Pakenham using platform 4 until 8.01pm.

The station is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register. Tram route 16 is a short walk from the station, on Glenferrie Road.
