"The Legend of the Condor Heroes" (Traditional Chinese: 射鵰英雄傳; Simplified Chinese: 射雕英雄传) is a wuxia television drama series produced by TVB in 1982 based on the novel The Legend of the Condor Heroes written by Jinyong.
All the theme songs of the series were sung by Roman Tam and Jenny Tseng.
Premise
The series is split into three parts: Tie Xie Dan Xin (19 episodes), Dong Xie Xi Du (20 episodes), and Hua Shan Luen Jian (20 episodes) each representing a story arc.

According to the behind-the-scenes featurette on the DVD, the Mongolian scenes were filmed in Lantau Island, Hong Kong.
Relationship to "Return of the Condor Heroes"
While the roles of adult Kwok Jing and Wong Yung were played by different actors (Leung Ka Yan and Auyeung Pui San, respectively) in the 1983 TVB adaptation Return of the Condor Heroes, many actors reprised their roles, most notably: Lau Daan as Hung Chuk-gong, Kong Ai as Or Jen-ork, Wong Chun as Chow Bak-tung, Chak Lam Yeung as Auyueng Fung, Kenneth Tsang as Wong Yue-si, and Shih Kien as Kao Chin-yan.
