It enrolls approximately 900 students annually. The current principal of New Fairfield High School is Mariana Coelho. The school was constructed in the 1970s with open classrooms that were retrofitted with walls in the 1980s. New Fairfield was ranked by Newsweek on its list of the top 1300 public high schools in the U.S. for 2007.[1] [2]
