Fairfield Warde High School is a co-educational secondary school located in Fairfield, Connecticut, United States.

History

In 2001, Fairfield High School was deemed overcrowded. To alleviate population overflow, Fairfield Ludlowe High School was opened at the former Roger Ludlowe High School site in 2003. The existing Fairfield High School, originally called Andrew Warde High School since its opening in 1956, was renamed Fairfield Warde High School in 2004. In the 2003–2004 school year, Warde went under an extensive renovation projection which was completed in 2006.For years, Warde was known for its successes in women's sports, notably volleyball and softball, and in math league, in which it dominated county and state competition for most of the 70s and 80s, and occasionally won regional (New England) championships.
