Dr. Peter Jensen (born August 25, 1946 in Rouyn-Noranda Quebec, Canada) is the sport psychologist for the Canadian Women's Olympic Hockey team, and the co-ordinating sport psychologist for the Canadian Olympic team.[1] Jensen's Olympic involvement began with the 1988 Winter Olympics (held in Calgary, Alberta) where he worked extensively with Canadian figure skater Brian Orser, among others.
Jensen is the co-founder of Performance Coaching Inc., a Canadian corporate training firm (working mainly in leadership development) which he founded along with his wife Sandra Stark in 1991. He is an instructor at the Queen's School of Business in Kingston, Ontario where he teaches in a variety of post-graduate and executive education programs. He holds a PhD in physical education from the University of New Brunswick.
