School colors
According to school legend, Midpark's sports teams wound up with the colors of brown and orange after the uniforms for the school's first football team didn't arrive in time for the first game. Someone from the school drove to the Cleveland Browns practice facility in nearby Berea seeking help and wound up with old gear donated from the NFL team in their traditional brown and orange colors. Midpark would eventually adopt those colors for all of their athletic programs.[2]
