Prospect Creek is a small creek in south-western Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It flows from the Prospect reservoir (near Prospect) for about 17 km until joining the Georges River [ [http://www.gnb.nsw.gov.au/name_search/extract?id=ujjtBKqbTR Geographical Names Board of New South Wales] ] at Georges Hall into the Dhurawal bay, in the Chipping Norton Lake system.
As the reservoir forms a part of the Sydney metropolitan water supply, the flow of the creek is regulated in accordance with the operational requirements of Sydney Water.

Sharks can also be found in the creek as it is tidal, and swimming is not recommended.
