Multivision (Sri Lanka)

Ruhuna Multivision 2001 (shortened to just Multivision (Comet Cable) as the topic of this article) is a pay TV operator based in Sri Lanka. Its competitors are CBNsat (now Dialog TV), LBN and SATnet (all Sri Lankan except SATnet which sells Indian DishTV sets).

Services

Multivision currently provides 19 international cable tv channels. These channels are obtained from their own cable TV relayer, namely Comet Cable. However it is seen that there are only 18 channels on the decoder and Channel 03 switches from Cartoon Network to Nickelodeon and vice versa throughout the day. Channel 7 switches from BBC World to Bloomberg Television sometimes, and Channel 5 switches from Ten Sports India to Ten Sports Pakistan according to the popular events being broadcast on one.
