Farringdon is a village in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. It is 2.8 miles (4.5km) south of Alton, on the A32 road.

The nearest railway station is Alton, 2.8 miles (4.5km) north of the village.

The village is split into two parts, the larger part being Upper Farringdon, and Lower Farringdon, located along the Alton to Portsmouth road, the A32.

The naturalist Gilbert White was curate of the village church of All Saints. The village is home to Massey's Folly which was featured on the BBC's "Restoration Village" programme.

The source of the River Wey is near Farringdon.
