- North Lantau New Town
-
The North Lantau New Town (Chinese: 北大嶼山新市鎮), built on reclaimed land from the northern coast of the Lantau Island in the New Territories, is the newest among the nine new towns in Hong Kong. It was planned to span Tung Chung and Tai Ho. Nevertheless, as of 2006, only Tung Chung was developed, and a railway depot at Siu Ho Wan near Tai Ho was built. The remaining phases are pending review.
