Nangavalli (Tamil: நங்கவள்ளி) is a panchayat town in Salem district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
Geography
Nangavalli is located at 11°45′N 77°53′E / 11.75°N 77.88°E[1]. It has an average elevation of 385 metres (1263 feet). Nangavalli is famous for its Temple "Sri lakshmi Narashimha Swamy" an Avathar of lord Vishnu
More over Nangavalli has lots of Handlooms. The Silk Sarees manufactured here are sold leading Textile Stores in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
The main occupation in Nangavalli is Weaving.The Silk sarees made from Nangavalli and the around area is very famous throughout India.Only one Government School.The festival of the Narashimha Swamy Thirukovil will be celebrated by the nearby all the villages in and around Nangavalli.
