- Catholic Christian Outreach
Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO) is a Canadian national
university student movement dedicated to evangelization. They challenge young adults to live in the fullness of the Catholic faith, with a strong emphasis on becoming leaders in the renewal of the world. It is an incorporatednon-profit organization . CCO was started in 1988 by André and Angèle Regnier in response to the needs of Catholic university students; to help them grow in their faith and to learn to share it with others. Its primary goal is to reach out to Catholic students; however, all young adults of all faith backgrounds are welcome. CCO follows a model called "Proclaim, Equip, Commission"; they focus on one person at a time, provide them with the tools to share their faith, and then send them out to evangelize others.Locations

Students involved with CCO lead and attend weekly
faith studies oncampus . These faith studies help students learn more about their faith and how they can live it out. The material referencesScripture verses from theBible , theCatechism of the Catholic Church , and otherChristian writings. They also employ analogies, useful in sharing spiritual realities in common terms. The studies are intended to fuel discussion in a comfortable, small group setting. The four studies are called "Discovery", "Source", "Growth" and "Obedience".Another popular method of evangelization used by CCO is on-campus events for large groups of students. One-on-one ministry training and leadership opportunities are available. Students attend retreats, recreational events, and other social and prayer related activities as well.
CCO has created a booklet entitled "The Ultimate Relationship" which serves as an introduction to basic Christian faith, accompanied by colourful images (this is also available [http://www.cco.ca/ulrel/seven.htm online] ). It has also produced a CD called "Wonderful King", as well as various merchandise, which can be purchased online at CCO's [https://soulsnack.dyndns.org/, Soul Snack] web site.
