The township has one kindergarten (Irymple Kindergarten), two primary schools (Irymple Primary School and Irymple South Primary School), one secondary school (Irymple Secondary College, years 7-10) and one P-12 Baptist school (Mildura Baptist School).
Irymple is rich in sporting facilities and clubs, including a football and netball club, a soccer club, a lawn bowls club, a bocce club, a swimming club and a basketball club, all of which have home grounds located in the township. It also has two fish and chip shops.
The town has a progress association who meet on an 'as needs' basis.
