The median family income in 2006 was $932 per week (equal to approximately $48,597 per year); and, the median household income in 2006 was $738 per week (equal to approximately $38,481 per year).
There were 11,847 people employed in 2006 (to give an employment to working age population ratio of 0.60), and 1,138 people unemployed. The most common occupations were Professionals (22%); Managers (15%); and, Technicians and Trades Workers (15%).
