Sparkbrook inBirmingham , West Midlands,England . The station is managed byLondon Midland , which runs all the services. Services at Small Heath are half-hourly (off-peak) going to Dorridge and Shirley, and towards Stourbridge Junction and Worcester Foregate Street. At peak times, these services are extended to Leamington Spa and Stratford-upon-Avon.The former
Great Western Railway station building, opened in1863 as Small Heath and Sparkbrook, is on a bridge, which it shares with Golden Hillock Road (the B4145), over the tracks. The A45 Small Heath Highway runs alongside. To the other side is the site of the former BSA factory. The 2007-2008 resignalling of the Birmingham to Warwick corridor has posed problems for Small Heath, as a large piece of signalling equipment has being erected blocking access to the disused island platform, and as a result poses health and safety issues should the platform be reinstated.
