It is composed of seven villages: Chiuieşti, Dosu Bricii, Huta, Măgoaja, Strâmbu, Valea Căşeielului and Valea lui Opriş.
Demographics
According to the census from 2002 there was a total population of 2,769 people living in this town. Of this population, 98.84% are ethnic Romanians, and 1.15% ethnic Rroma.[4]
