The Modern Records Centre and the new extension of the library
The Modern Records Centre (MRC) is the specialist archive service of the University of Warwick in Coventry, England, located adjacent to the Central Campus Library. It holds the largest archive collection on UK industrial relations. The BP corporate archive is located next to the MRC and shares a searchroom.

Material held in the Centre includes:
- Archival collections relating to industrial relations, trade unions, trade associations and employers' associations
- Archival collections relating to campaigning organisations and pressure groups
- Archival collections relating to radical political organisations, especially Trotskyist groups
- Archival collections relating to educational organisations
- Archival collections relating to the motor industry
- Personal papers of individuals associated with these organisations or activities
- University of Warwick Library special collections
- University of Warwick theses and dissertations by research
- Lord Rootes Memorial Fund Reports
