* Business Mentoring (IGNITE)
Ignite has one aim - to help businesses to grow faster and make more money - now and in the long term. Over an extended period of time, an experienced business mentor will work along side the business to plan its development and to pro-actively identify and access resources to support the owner/manager in driving it forward. In practical terms this could mean (i) Developing an action plan to achieve business objectives; (ii) Accessing funding; (iii) Refining the marketing strategy or implementing the sales plan (iv) in the case of start-up businesses, providing an operational base to give the business credibility in the eyes of customers and suppliers - this is free for a six moth period (subject to availability). There are many other areas of business where support can be provided but it's firstly a matter of understanding the nature of the business, the crucial issues to be tackled and a plan of action to start the ball rolling and then to maintain the tempo.
