It serves the Doraville area, and while the station is the last on the Gold Line, the tracks continue over a bridge spanning I-285 stopping just short of the Gwinnett line, about three miles south of Norcross square. This bridge serves as the Doraville rail yard for the Gold line, with a capacity of 30 rail cars.
This station provides access to Doraville City Hall, Doraville Health Department, Doraville Public Library, and Xpress bus service to Discover Mills. It also provides connecting bus service to Oglethorpe University, Tucker, Phipps Plaza, and Brandsmart USA.
Gwinnett County Transit provides bus service to Johns Creek Technology park
