Allen Independent School District is a public school district based in Allen, Texas (USA).
Allen ISD covers most of the city of Allen, as well as portions of the cities of McKinney, Plano, and Parker.

History
Until fall 2006, Allen ISD took high school students zoned to Lovejoy Independent School District, which includes city of Lucas, most of Fairview, and a small portion of Allen. In fall 2006, Lovejoy High School opened. During the same year, Allen ISD opened Chandler Elementary School [cite web|url=http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/latestnews/stories/081406dnccowakelandopen.23cd566.html|title=Collin County districts learning as they grow|publisher=Dallas Morning News|date=2006-08-14|accessdate=2007-11-04] .
