"One Love" is a single released by the British electronic act The Prodigy on 4 October 1993. It was the first single from the album Music For the Jilted Generation, and their sixth single.

The ring on the cover is made by 'Stussy' and is solid silver (925)

Liam Howlett first released the songs "One Love" and "One Love" (Jonny L Remix) as two 12" white labels, called "Earthbound 1" and "Earthbound 2" respectively, in response to growing criticism from the music community about The Prodigy having sold themselves out and become purely commercial. Underground DJs apparently praised the white labels as some of the best of the year, but when it was revealed that Howlett had produced the songs, the DJs shunned the songs.^{[citation needed]} With this act, Howlett had shown that The Prodigy was still capable of making pioneering dance music praised by the underground. This song in particular features rather innovative programming and loop-work in combination with sped-up tribal chants and orchestral strings.

"One Love" was also one of the first Prodigy singles to not receive a US release.

The version that appeared on The Prodigy's second studio album Music for the Jilted Generation was the shorter edit version due to the band having to trim some running time off the album to allow it to fit on the master CD^[1].

The music video was created by Hyperbolic Systems and featured computer generated graphics with occasional images of the band members dancing along tribal figures.

In 1995, "One Love" (along with Voodoo People) was included in the soundtrack for the movie Hackers, starring Angelina Jolie^[2].
