History
The university opened in January 1949 in Clinton, Kentucky. The University is now located four miles north of Mayfield.[1]
By 1992, LaVerne Butler, then-president of the university facilitated the school's accreditation.[clarification needed] He retired in 1997. The university is raising funds for a chapel which will be named in Butler's honor.[2]
Academics
The university offers three bachelor's degrees: (bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, and bachelor of ministry) and two associate's degrees: (associate of arts and associate of science).[3]
Athletics
The university participates in several sports in the Division I Mid-East Region of the National Christian College Athletic Association, including in men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, men's soccer, women's volleyball, and coed cheerleading. [4]
