Lakemba is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales. It is currently a very safe Labor seat and has been held by the Australian Labor Party since its creation in 1927. It was previously represented by Morris Iemma, who was Premier of New South Wales from the 3rd August 2005 until his resignation on the 5th September 2008.
A resulting by-election is slated to be held on the 18th October 2008.
