Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association is a college athletic conference which operates in the midwestern United States. It participates in the NCAA's Division III as a hockey-only conference. The conference includes only men's teams; those schools with women's hockey teams compete in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association.

On October 24, 2006, the MCHA added Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin, and on October 26, 2006, they added Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan. Both schools began play for the 2007-2008 season.

The University of Minnesota Crookston is a Division II school, but operated the hockey team with no scholarships like the other Division III members of the league. While the Golden Eagles competed in the conference championship, they were ineligible for the NCAA Division III Tournament, but they were eligible for the Harris Cup.

University on Minnesota-Crookston left the conference after 2008-2009 season and will be replaced by Lake Forest. University of Minnesota-Crookston then announced the university dropped varsity hockey in March 2009.
