Afon Dulas inPowys ,Wales . The Afon Glesyrch joins the Dulas in the middle of the village.The ERA
slate quarry lay in the Glesyrch valley, behind the village.Railway
Esgairgeiliog was a station on the narrow-gauge
Corris Railway , although prospective passengers had to cross the river intoMerionethshire (southernGwynedd today) to catch the train. A steeply-graded branch line crossed the river and led to the ERA quarry, carrying slate toMachynlleth fortransshipment .The station has recently been structurally and cosmetically restored as the Corris Railway is being reinstated back to Esgairgeiliog.
The
