Doda (Dogri/Hindi: डोडा) is a town and a notified area committee in Doda district in Jammu & Kashmir of India.
Geography
Doda is located at 33°08′N 75°34′E / 33.13°N 75.57°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 1107 metres (3631 feet).
Demographics
As of 2001[update] India census,[2] Doda had a population of 13,249. Males constitute 63% of the population and females 37%. Doda has an average literacy rate of 5% higher than the Indian national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 85% and, female literacy is 61%. In Doda, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
