BlueStone Television

BlueStone Television also known as Bluestone License Holdings Inc., is a Wichita, Kansas-based owner of television broadcast stations in the United States. It was formed by Sandy DiPasquale and Providence Equity Partners. Its first acquisition was a group of 12 stations from Lamco Communications Inc. in 2004. DiPasquale has later partnered with Providence Equity to purchase Clear Channel Communications' television stations in a deal reported to be worth $1.2 billion dollars, creating a new partnership, Newport Television, LLC, based in Kansas City, Missouri. [http://www.kansas.com/101/story/50456.html]
