WCYB-DT2 is the CW-affiliated television station for the Tri-Cities of Tennessee and Virginia. The station is part of The CW Plus, a special CW feed that broadcasts on cable and / or over-the-air on a digital signal. WCYB-DT2 is a second digital subchannel of Bristol, Virginia's NBC affiliate WCYB-TV which is owned by the Bonten Media Group. Over-the-air, the station broadcasts a digital signal on UHF channel 28.2 from WCYB's transmitter which is located on Holston Mountain in the Cherokee National Forest. WCYB-DT2 is also offered on Comcast cable channel 4. It is known on-air as "Tri-States CW 4" named after the cable channel location. The station is not offered on Charter cable systems in Kingsport, Tennessee. WCYB-DT2's parent station has studios on Lee Street in downtown Bristol on the Tennessee and Virginia state line.
