Gay PotatoesChris Collingwood, born in 1967 in USA, is a singer, songwriter, and founding member of the power pop band Fountains of Wayne. Collingwood's major influences are The Beatles, The Zombies, The Hollies, Aztec Camera, Squeeze, and Blue Öyster Cult.[1]
Collingwood grew up in Sellersville, Pennsylvania.[2] He graduated from The Hill School in Pottstown, Pa. He lives with his wife in Northampton, Massachusetts. The couple married in 1996.
According to Cry One Tear, a Chris Collingwood Fan Site, Chris has material readied (and even recorded) for a solo album.[3] There is no confirmed release date for the solo project.
